Sunday, September 26th at 2.30pm

For almost forty years, Bruce Davies has performed around 250 concerts annually. That is until the coronavirus pandemic changed everything. In a year when ‘live’ events have been a rarity, Armadale Parish Church is delighted to host this special concert on Sunday 26th September.

For almost eighteen months, Bruce’s only public audience was for ‘Songs From The Kitchen’, his streamed Facebook shows. These kept him connected with a world-wide audience and have been a huge success. However, he is overjoyed to be back on the road and in Armadale again .

Bruce is a musician who’s easy on the ear singing and storytelling have gained him many friends on four continents. Crisp acoustic guitar playing is one of his trademarks and, as his songwriting hero, Tom Paxton said; he is “one of Scotland’s best singers”. Country superstar, Kenny Rogers, also complimented him on his “great work”

He released ‘Sing Me A Song’, a new album of Scottish songs just days before the world came to a halt. The Armadale audience will hear some of those songs and an eclectic selection from his vast repertoire on Sunday.

The concert starts at 2.30pm in Armadale Parish Church, 5 Academy Street, Armadale, EH48 3JD this Sunday (26th).

The concert will follow government guidelines and further details can be had by calling 01501-730358.
