1. Welcome and Call to Worship

  2. Prayer and Lord’s Prayer

    Our Father, who art in heaven,
    hallowed be thy name;
    thy kingdom come;
    thy will be done;
    on earth as it is in heaven.
    Give us this day our daily bread.
    And forgive us our trespasses,
    as we forgive those who trespass against us.
    And lead us not into temptation;
    but deliver us from evil.
    For thine is the kingdom,
    the power, and the glory
    for ever and ever.
    Amen.

  3. CH4 111 Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God Almighty

    1. Holy, holy, holy! Lord God almighty!
      Early in the morning our song shall rise to thee.
      Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!
      God in three persons, blessed trinity!

    2. Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore thee,
      casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;
      cherubim and seraphim falling down before thee,
      which wert, and art, and evermore shalt be.

    3. Holy, holy, holy! Though the darkness hide thee,
      though the eye of sinfulness thy glory may not see,
      only thou art holy; there is none beside thee,
      perfect in pow’r, in love, and purity.

    4. Holy, holy, holy! Lord God almighty!
      All thy works shall praise thy name, in earth, and sky, and sea.
      Holy, holy, holy! Merciful and mighty!
      God in three persons, blessed trinity!

  4. Known Unknowns 4 All Who Throng the Halls of Heaven

    Tune: Ode to Joy

    1. All who throng the halls of heaven
      praise God’s awesomeness and power;
      unseen angels, bowed in worship,
      sanctify each sacred hour.
      God’s voice thunders over waters,
      fathoms oceans, stirs the sea,
      full, majestic, measured, mighty,
      glorious through eternity.

    2. This same voice can split the cedars,
      towering trees of Lebanon;
      and demand that solid mountains
      skip and scurry on and on.
      Sound and sight are intermingled:
      God’s voice flashes like a fire;
      desert places writhe and tremble
      rumbled by the Lord’s desire.

    3. God’s voice sets the forests quaking:
      leaves are stripped and treetops stare.
      Though earth trembles, heaven rejoices:
      ‘Glory’ echoes everywhere.
      Over flood, untouched by chaos,
      God, alone enthroned, is king.
      May God’s peace and heaven’s blessing
      anchor us and everything.

  9. God, You Spin the Whirling Planets

    Tune: Ebenezer

    1. God You spin the whirling planets
      Fill the seas and spread the plain
      Mold the mountains fashion blossoms
      Call forth sunshine wind and rain
      We created in your image
      Would a true reflection be
      Of Your justice grace and mercy
      And the truth that makes us free

    2. You have called us to be faithful
      In our life and ministry
      We respond in grateful worship
      Joined in one community
      When we blur Your gracious image
      Focus us and make us whole
      Healed and strengthened as Your people
      We move onward toward Your goal

    3. God Your will is still creating
      Calling us to life made new
      Now reveal to us fresh vistas
      Where there's work to dare and do
      Keep us clear of all distortion
      Fashion us with loving care
      Thus new creatures in Your image
      We'll proclaim Christ everywhere
