1. Welcome and Intimations

  2. Prayer and Lord’s Prayer

    Our Father, who art in heaven,
    hallowed be thy name;
    thy kingdom come;
    thy will be done;
    on earth as it is in heaven.
    Give us this day our daily bread.
    And forgive us our trespasses,
    as we forgive those who trespass against us.
    And lead us not into temptation;
    but deliver us from evil.
    For thine is the kingdom,
    the power, and the glory
    for ever and ever.
    Amen.

  3. CH4 510 Jesus Calls Us Here to Meet Him

    (vss. 1-3)

    1. Jesus calls us here to meet him
      as, through word and song and prayer,
      we affirm God’s promised presence
      where his people live and care.
      Praise the God who keeps his promise;
      praise the Son who calls us friends;
      praise the Spirit who, among us,
      to our hopes and fears attends.

    2. Jesus calls us to confess him
      Word of life and Lord of all,
      sharer of our flesh and frailness,
      saving all who fail or fall.
      Tell his holy human story;
      tell his tales that all may hear;
      tell the world that Christ in glory
      came to earth to meet us here.

    3. Jesus calls us to each other,
      vastly different though we are;
      creed and colour, class and gender
      neither limit nor debar.
      Join the hand of friend and stranger;
      join the hands of age and youth;
      join the faithful and the doubter
      in their common search for truth.

  4. CH4 68 O Thou My Soul, Bless God the Lord

    (Psalm 103)

    1. O thou my soul, bless God the Lord;
      and all that in me is
      be stirrèd up his holy name
      to magnify and bless.

    2. Bless, O my soul, the Lord thy God,
      and not forgetful be
      of all his gracious benefits
      he hath bestowed on thee.

    3. All thine iniquities who doth
      most graciously forgive:
      who thy diseases all and pains
      doth heal, and thee relieve.

    4. Who doth redeem thy life, that thou
      to death mayest not go down;
      who thee with loving-kindness doth
      and tender mercies crown:

    5. Who with abundance of good things
      doth satisfy thy mouth;
      so that even as the eagle's age,
      renewèd is thy youth.

  6. CH4 502 Take My Life and Let It Be

    1. Take my life, Lord, let it be
      consecrated, glad, and free;
      take my moments and my days,
      let them flow in ceaseless praise.

    2. Take my hands, and let them move
      at the impulse of your love;
      take my feet, that I may run
      bearing news of Christ your Son.

    3. Take my voice, and let me sing
      always, only, for my King;
      take my intellect and use
      every power as you shall choose.

    4. Take my will -- your will be done,
      may my will and yours be one;
      take my heart -- it is your own,
      it shall be your royal throne.

    5. Take my love -- my Lord, I pour
      at your feet its treasure-store;
      take myself, and I will be
      all for you, eternally.

  9. CH4 682 Go in Grace and Make Disciples

    1. Go in grace and make disciples,
      baptise in God’s holy name;
      tell of death and resurrection,
      Easter’s victory now proclaim.
      Christ’s commission sends us forth
      to the nations of the earth.
      Go in grace and make disciples,
      midwives for the world’s rebirth.

    2. Go and follow Christ’s example,
      not to vanquish, but to heal;
      mend the wounds of sin’s divisions,
      servant love to all reveal.
      Roles and ranks shall be reversed,
      justice flow for all who thirst.
      Go and follow Christ’s example,
      forge a world of last made first.

    3. Go in Pentecostal spirit,
      many tongues and many gifts;
      feed the hearts of hungry people,
      spread the gospel that uplifts.
      As disciples, teach and learn,
      till the day of Christ’s return.
      Go in Pentecostal spirit,
      let God’s flame of witness burn.
