Prayer and Lord’s Prayer

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done;
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power, and the glory

1. Love is the touch of intangible joy;
   love is the force that no fear can destroy;
   love is the goodness we gladly applaud:
   God is where love is for love is of God.

Prayer of Intercession

CH4 536 May the Mind of Christ My Saviour

1. May the mind of Christ my Saviour
   live in me from day to day,
   by his love and power controlling
   all I do or say.
   

2. May the word of God dwell richly
   in my heart from hour to hour,
   so that all may see I triumph
   only through his power.
   

3. May the peace of God my Father
   in my life for ever reign;
   that I may be calm to comfort
   those in grief, or pain.
   

4. May the love of Jesus fill me,
   as the waters fill the sea;
   him exalting, self denying,
   this is victory.
   

5. May I run the race before me,
   strong and brave to face the foe,
   drawing all my strength from Jesus
   as I onward go.
